

Josiah has been involved in sports his entire life. Beginning at a young age he fell in love with the sights and sounds that a ball park can bring.
At age 16, Josiah was known across Southwest, Virginia, as "Young Sparky"the intern on the Greg Roberts Live Show. On the AP Award-winning sports radio talk show, Josiah joined the host and co-host daily from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. discussing local, collegiate, and professional sports.
Josiah learned the importance of being an accurate and honest journalist here. During his time with the show he was given the opportunity to cover both Virginia and Virginia Tech's Athletic programs, fill in as host and cover ACC Media days for the show.
COLLEGE
Josiah elected to attend Liberty University and major in Digital Media and Journalism: Sports Journalism. At Liberty, he quickly got involved with the Athletics Broadcasting and Video Services department. Josiah produced highlight packages and learned to operate Daktronics video boards. He helped operate the video board for Liberty sporting events enhancing the live production.
In Josiah's second year at Liberty he joined 90.9 the Light, Liberty's student radio station, where he served as a sports reporter and talk show host. Josiah hosted the weekday morning show "The Morning Drive" which covered local, collegiate and national sporting news.
Josiah covered Malik Willis' Pro Day and hosted the 90.9 the Light NFL Draft show, the largest live production in the station's history.
In Josiah's final year at Liberty, he helped expand "The Morning Drive" to four days a week and performed play-by-play for the station's coverage of Liberty Christian Academy Football and Liberty Hockey. Josiah began writing for the Liberty Champion where he had 10 articles published
